The
search for a supplier who could meet their
stringent requirements on bio-security,
hatchability and chick quality started
over 2 years ago and, after careful
evaluation, travelling to see each
referenced manufacturer twice,
Hazeldene’s made their choice in favour
of LINCO Set & Hatch.
John
Hazeldene said “We made our choice based
on our conviction that only LINCO Set
& Hatch could supply the benchmark
single stage technology that we demanded.
LINCO has been the pioneer of this
technology and together with their unique
forced air flow system, dedicated heating
& cooling on each trolley and hatcher
in-wall cooling system, LINCO were the
only company to match all our
specifications.
Our
target is to build the most advanced
broiler hatchery in Australia utilising
the most modern hatchery methods, best
practices and technology to achieve the
most efficient and highest levels of
production, quality and bio-security”.
LINCO
Set & Hatch will supply 64 LINCO
setters type 600-4S MK2 (capacity each
60.480 eggs) with 16 LINCO hatchers type
400H (capacity each 40.320 eggs). Another
part of the Hazeldene brief was for LINCO
Set & Hatch to design and supply a
bespoke, fully automatic, integrated,
automation system for on-farm traying,
tray transfer, egg candling, removal of
clears, hatcher tray transfer, hatcher
tray stacking and a tray washing system.
The
Hazeldene/LINCO Set & Hatch
partnership will set the standard for
future operations, not only in Australia,
but the whole of S.E. Asia.
